If you love the outdoors then this is the place you want to be.  There is always something around here to do. Whether it's fly fishing, hunting, bird watching, hiking and horseback riding.  If you just want to kick back & relax this is the place to do it.

  • Fishing - Some of the best fishing in the world is within minutes of you. Rivers and lakes, guided fishing trips or out on your own for the day we will point you in the right direction. We have the Madison river which boast of at least 3,000 and up to  6,000 Trout per mile of river. Some days you can catch up to 10-15 per/hr. Whether you're fishing from the shore or drifting down the river the fish are allways biting on what ever you have to offer! We are also a half- hour from the Gallatin River and Yellowstone National Park; 20 min. to Hebgen, Quake, Cliff and Wade Lakes, and over 20 lakes and streams within 45 minuntes.   • Canoe and Raft Trips - Canoe and  raft rentals are available in the area or you can bring your own. The Madison offers a great float trip and different length trips are available depending on how long you want to spend on the river. This is a great way to spend the day with the kids it is a very pleasant float trip. Shuttle services are available to drop off and pick you up from your day on the river.

  • Hiking, Backpacking and Mountain Biking- There are as many miles as you want! What else do I need to say?

  • Golfing- There are three courses, two within 35 minutes one in Ennis and one in Island Park. The third is in Bozeman about 85 miles from us.

  • Hunting - Enjoy the Madison Valley for some of the best big game hunting in Montana.  Hunt, elk,  deer, moose, bear, sheep, mountain goat, antelope, game birds and waterfowl. Our cabins are open year round. (Reservations are recommended during hunting season.)  For rates click here.

  • Shopping - Ennis, West Yellowstone and Big Sky offer great shopping opportunities with specialty shops, crafts, antiques and souvenirs. West Yellowstone also has an I-MAX theater and  The Grizzly Discovery Center.

  • Yellowstone National Park - 34 miles to the west entrance of Yellowstone Park and only 60 miles to Old Faithful.

  • Boating/Personal Water Craft - Since we are so close to so many lakes there are plenty of places in the summer to get your feet wet.

  • Winter activities -We are 50 miles from Big Sky which has some of Montana's finest skiing and snowboarding. Yellowstone and surrounding areas have many miles of cross country skiing and snow mobile trails close to the resort. Snow mobile rentals will be available in the area as well as guided snowmobile tours.
